![]() ![]() My issue is that we're playing JEDI Academy, not lightsaber academy. It's totally understandable that Aspyr wouldn't want to add another server since they were too goddamned lazy to give us anything other than a version 1.00 game that's nearly 20 years old, but still. However, while I commend your attempt to have Aspyr add an additional server for those who don't JUST want to fight with lightsabers, I am of the same mindset as Illudia when she posted that since you paid for console version you have that original experience there with lamers, force powers, OGOO76J's, etc. My capabilities in honorable duels are up there with the best of them on PSN and I like that people who are lacking in saber skill can't just rocket me to death or choke me off the map. I have spent a lot of time months ago looking through your articles (I assume it's you since the eye image is the same) and I begrudgingly admit that it has helped, particular the theory of blocking. I see you misunderstood the way I used "claim" but no matter. Hope that helps the sword-swinging simulator feel a bit better! ![]() If you're interested in learning so that it seems less "austistic," I'll leave a link here for an in-depth guide of game mechanics :) The most important things imo are strafing (under 'acrobatics' section) which impacts all game movements, and understanding the swing stages / blocking systems (which you can find under combat -> the theory of blocking). In either case! JKA is honestly a game of skilled saber combat and is renown for its amazing sword control system, not necessarily its weapons and force system. I should also mention the original request to Aspyr was to add an additional optional server for saber-only, not to make the change on FFA, but they declined to do so. All servers but FFA still have W&F, but FFA is obviously going to be more popular due to its saber-only nature (on PC, nearly every server hosted is saber-only with a very small full-force community, so its quite typical of the game). By far, the majority of players in JKA have always preferred saber-only combat, and so a lot of people requested Aspyr add at least one saber-only server. It's not so much a "claim" as it is historically accurate. ![]()
